Mee: the award-winning pan-Asian restaurant at the Copacabana Palace

Owner of one of Brazil’s most iconic addresses, Mee is the only pan-Asian restaurant in the country to boast a Michelin star. Located in the Copacabana Palace and run by chef Alberto Morisawa, the restaurant stands out for the excellence of both its cuisine and service – an experience that lives up to its prestige.

The sophisticated and exotic atmosphere is carefully decorated with references to Asian culture, creating a setting that transports customers on a sensory journey through the Orient. In the elegant lounge, you can choose between two tasting menus (including a vegan version) or explore à la carte dishes inspired by flavors from Japan, Thailand, Malaysia, Cambodia and China.

One of the house’s absolute highlights is the omakase: a personalized experience in which chef Morisawa himself prepares and presents each piece, explaining its origin and composition with mastery. To accompany it, the drinks menu has an impeccable selection of 60 imported sake labels, perfectly harmonizing with each stage of the menu.

As the newspaper O Globo put it, Mee is “a first-class journey through oriental flavors“.
